Current status: privacy-first analytics active.Anonymous audience measurement is provided by Plausible. Community posting, newsletter registration, payments and behavioural advertising are not active. The visible prototype forms do not transmit or store entries.

Data currently used

Plausible measures page views, referrers, approximate country, device type and selected clicks without creating advertising profiles. The language selector stores only your language preference in your browser. Hosting and security providers may process technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies and local storage

AfriHalo uses no advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies. Plausible is configured as privacy-friendly audience measurement. The local language preference is functional and remains on your device until you clear browser storage.

Analytics purpose

Aggregated statistics help AfriHalo understand which countries, stories, opportunities and external links attract interest. They are used to improve the platform and assess responsible partnership potential, not to identify individual visitors.

A dedicated privacy contact and the legal identity of the controller will be published before newsletter, community, payment or account services activate. Until then, this page documents the limited processing used to operate the public site.
